About

History

Based on the government’s goal of developing the Tourism Industry in Indonesia, the Tourism Industry sector including Hotels, Travel Bureaus, Tourist Attractions and others gets good attention, but one thing that must not be forgotten is the employees or experts who manage Tourism and Hospitality.
Starting from the government’s intention to develop the Tourism Industry, it is natural for managers in the Hotel, Restaurant, Catering Services and Convention sectors in the food and beverage sector to play a role in helping the Government develop the tourism industry.
Therefore, in a joint effort to participate in developing the Tourism Industry in Indonesia, the idea emerged to form a forum which would later be a union of experts in Hotels, Restaurants, Catering Services, Conventions and others.
So that this forum can be effective in carrying out its role in advancing Indonesian tourism and benefiting its members, with the Grace of God Almighty, Indonesian experts in the field of Food & Beverage have formed a forum called the Indonesian Food & Beverage Executive Association (IFBEC). on December 10, 1983.

Certifications

Facilitate all members to obtain the technical competency test regulated in PP No. 24 of 2023 concerning the implementation of work competency certification in the field of tourism, guidance and supervision as well as financing

Role Model

Facilitate that members can gain trust to become role models among the departments in each member's workplace with the information facilities provided by the association

Assesor

Become a bridging so that members get the opportunity to become assessors in the food and beverage service sector

Trainer

Providing facilities to become trainers and resource persons at LPK, LKP and tourism polytechnics

Networking

Help to improve, expand and develop networking and obtain information on trends in the world of hospitality, especially in the food and beverage sector

Expertise

Provide space for expertise in empowering expertise to be able to become judges in every competition activity at regional, national and regional scale
